Welcome to Acorn Farm Park
Devon’s secret hideaway

 Camping in Devon!

Well, welcome to Acorn Farm, our  small family touring park, situated in one of Devon’s most beautiful and tranquil settings. Nestling on the fringes of Dolton, (mentioned in the Doomsday Book), the village offers 2 village pubs, an 13th century church, local village shops, some lovely dog walks and Post office all within a 5 minute walk from the site, you can experience quietness, tranquillity and friendship rarely found in today’s world. There is a bus service from the village to either Exeter or Barnstaple.

The park itself covers some 2.5 acres and with only 45 pitches, all with magnificent countryside views, it gives the feeling of space and peacefulness, both grass and hard standing pitches are available. This park is a bird watchers paradise, with over 20 species seen by one camper in a 24 hour period – so bring your binoculars!!

The  amenity block now with brand new individual luxury underfloor heated shower rooms offers free showers with plenty of hot water, together with a separate laundry room, having both washing up sinks, washing machine and tumble dryer. A chemical disposal point is adjacent to the toilet block.

Don’t forget our neighbour The Royal Oak pub has lots planned this  summer from steak nights to Happy Hour and a Beer Festival 13th and 14th August, well worth a visit.

Ralley-at-acorn-farm-parkRallies and Organised Groups Welcome –

We find Rallies have an excellent stay with us they have the whole field to themselves with electric and the shower rooms are a real home from home experience, and from £8 per pitch per night – please contact us for details.

We are open from April until end of October, and welcome caravans, tents and motor homes, but sorry no American style RV’s or converted coaches. We do not accept commercial vehicles on site.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times, a small rough area has been left for that first thing in the morning, and last thing at night excursion!, but please clear up!!
